Fly On The Wall

When people who are thinking of having me photograph their wedding ask me to explain how I approach the events of the day, I say, I am “like a fly on the wall”. I step in and get the important posed photos they ask for, but beyond that, I don’t intrude because it’s more important that people enjoy their day and not feel like they are posing for me all day! My favorite compliment is when people say, I didn’t even realize you were there but then there were a ton of great pictures of everyone and everything that happened. Pictures are more fun and people look better when they’re not posing and feeling relaxed, natural and happy around people they love.
