Dear friends,
I just got home from a little trip to Denver, and I came back feeling so inspired. You know that feeling when you’ve been around people and places that get your brain going and suddenly you have a million ideas floating around? That’s me right now. 😂
I was there for a reunion with some of my favorite dance photographer friends, and we spent our days creating, experimenting and dreaming up some really cool photographs. I can’t wait to share more of what we made!
But my favorite part of the trip was spending time with my nephew Anthony and his sweet wife, Briana.
One afternoon, the three of us wandered into a bookstore and ended up having one of those wonderfully random, deep conversations about all the things we’re curious about and creating in the world.
Anthony is a psychologist who studies personalities, Briana is a spunky jewelry designer with her own company, and of course I’m a photographer who can’t stop thinking about people, creativity, movement and storytelling.
It got me thinking about how connected all of us creative people really are. We share our own perspectives and experiences. We try to see the world through other people’s eyes. And we hope to create something that makes someone feel—whether it’s something extraordinary and beautiful or something cozy and familiar from everyday life.
Those conversations lit me up.
And then there was Denver itself—the enormous dramatic sky, the wide-open landscape, the light, the feeling of SPACE.
I came home with my head absolutely full of ideas so I thought I’d share a few little peeks from my trip with you. ❤️

I’m not exactly sure what all these new ideas are going to become yet… but I LOVE that feeling of being inspired to create and connect and just see where it goes.
Thanks for letting me share a little piece of my world with you.
xo,
Anita
