Flowing Magic with Angelica

Every time Angelica walks into my studio—usually every couple of months for our activewear shoots—I find myself wondering what kind of slow-flow shape she’ll glide into first. She has this incredible way of moving: calm, intentional, and effortlessly graceful. It makes photographing her feel less like witnessing a quiet performance.

What I love most about working with Angelica is the playful feeling we share. We look around the studio, see what inspires us in the moment, and start creating from there. Somehow, whatever we choose—plants, stools, chairs, boxes, lights, mirrors, shadows—always complements the new print or design she’s modeling. It’s serendipity every single time.

These shoots are joyful and so creative. They’re lighthearted and rooted in trust. When I can blend fun, curiosity, and experimentation while making images for a client, that’s when I feel most in my element and like I am offering my best self.

I can’t wait for the next one, and to see what new shapes, surprises, and magic Angelica will bring to the studio again.

Angelica teaches yoga and is part owner of Yoga Factory in Lawrenceville and Squirrel Hill and Southside. She is a Reiki Master and all around amazing person. She also represents Radiant Activewear.
