Little flower worlds

I have always loved taking pictures of flowers. There’s something meditative about getting up close with these tiny worlds, crouching down to meet the blooms at their level, and letting the world fade away while I focus on the intricate details. I usually spray a bit of water on the petals because I like to think it makes them feel happy (and water droplets look so pretty in pictures!). I get close and take my time and study these interesting environments from all perspectives, not just the classic “front and center” with perfect lighting. Sometimes the beauty lies in the shadows, the underside of a leaf, a drooping petal, or the subtle curve of a stem. Flowers, like people, wear many moods, and I love capturing that emotional range in my photos.

If you have a blank wall at home that’s begging for a touch of floral personality, I’d love to help you bring it to life. I create custom flower art that speaks to the feeling of your space—whether it’s vibrant and joyful or calm and contemplative. Let’s find the floral story that fits your home.
